Dezentrales VPN

Hallo, ich habe mal einen Entwurf erstellt, in dem ich ein dezentrales VPN für Potsdam vorschlage. https://github.com/niccokunzmann/decentral-community-vpn Mein einfacher Use-Case wäre, dass ich z.B. Freifunk-Meshing in Firmennetzen erlauben möchte, in denen OLSR nicht so leicht meshen kann - verschiedene Subnetze und Gateways. Wer mag, kann mitmachen. Wo ich Hilfe bräuchte: Wisst ihr noch, wie ihr das Potsdam-VPN eingerichtet habt? Ich würde diesen Server gerne dazu kompatibel haben. Viele Grüße, Nicco

Hallo, am 9.6. machen wir ein CoderDojo am HPI <https://coderdojopotsdam.github.io> zu den Tagen für Netzpolitik und Demokratie <https://www.netzpolitische-bildung.de>. Wollen wir das zum Thema Freifunk machen? Wer hätte Lust und Zeit, da mitzumachen? Ich würde es dann als eine Freifunk-Veranstaltung dort anmelden. Hedy, FFuplink

Hallo liebe Leute, kann mir mal jemand erklären, wie das mit dem FFuplink in Hedy funktionieren soll? Ich versuche es gerade testhalber auf einer Loco (die war ja für VPN hardwaremäßig nicht geeignet, aber ohne VPN müsste es doch eigentlich gehen, oder? Bei meinen ersten Versuchen kommt einfach gar nichts aus dem Internet. FFuplink ist nicht verbunden und lässt sich nicht verbinden. Es gibt diese komische Schnittstelle ffuplink, aber unter "physikalische Einstellungen" finde ich nur, dass diese mit einer gleichnamigen Schnittstelle verbunden ist, und man kann nichts weiter korrigieren, man kann ihm nicht sagen, auf welcher Schnittstelle es einen Uplink findet. Die Loco ist am LAN angeschlossen und von dort auch erreichbar. Hat jemand einen Tip? Ciao, Johannes

Zwecke vom Potsdam-VPN

Hallo, ich wollte mal nachfragen, wie das Potsdam-VPN genutzt werden soll/kann. > Das Potsdam-VPN ist ein Intra-City-VPN, das dazu dient, Inseln > zusammenzuführen. - https://wiki.freifunk-potsdam.de/Potsdam-VPN Jetzt ist es so, dass wir auch den Smart-Gateway über das VPN propagieren. Das heißt, sollte ich kein Zertifikat von den Freifunkern aus Berlin bekommen, dann kann ich das Potsdam-VPN verwenden, um Verkehr ins Internet zu leiten. (1) Stellt der VPN-Server selbst eine Gateway-Internet-Verbindung? OLSR routet auf IP-Ebene. Das heißt, dass der VPN-Server selbst eine Route nach 0.0.0.0 wählt und alles da lang sendet, soweit ich das verstehe. (2) Ist das Potsdam-VPN auch dazu gedacht, die Routen ins Internet bereitzustellen? https://wiki.freifunk-potsdam.de/Kathleen Redet davon, dass man ein Zertifikat von den Berlinern bekommt. Über deren Mailingliste habe ich erfahren, dass das ab und zu etwas dauert. (3) Ist das Potsdam-VPN eine Alternative? (4) Wie sollte es in der Anleitung erwähnt werden? infoveranstaltungen für freifunk?

hallo freifunkleute, hiermal eine idee, die ich für freifunk brandenburg ausgebrütet habe, dann aber nicht mehr richtig umsetzen konnte und jetzt in potsdam verwenden wollen würde. über kritisches feedback freue ich mich :) wie machen infoveranstaltungen mit politischen strukturen der stadt und stellen freifunk vor (was ist freifunk, welchen sinn hat es, welche hardware/software, kosten, rechtliches, was geht vor ort - sprich potsdam) dazu hatten wir in brandenburg eine !kurze! powerpointpräsi. soll ich die mal übern verteiler schicken, oder ist euch das zu groß und lieber mitbringen? bei interesse würd ich die aufn aktuellen stand bringen und an potsdam anpassen. als gesprächspartner selbst bieten sich die parteien der svv an (was machen wir mit den blauen faschos?). nach dem vortrag böte sich an, in deren büro gleich einen router einzuweihen und zu fragen ob intressierte mitglieder auch einen für zu hause haben wollen. das sollte gute presse geben und wir können darin versuchen unsere netzpolitischen forderungen mit in die zeitung zu bringen und die parteien in die richtige richtung stupsen. ich habe mal einen !unverbindlichen! testballon bei der linkspartei losgelassen. die hätten interesse und würden vorab ihre intressierten mitglieder anstupsen, dann könnte man die vorgeflashten router an dem abend übergeben. frage 1) wollen wir das? frage 2) wäre es kräftemäßig zu schaffen. es wären erstmal "nur" router zu flashen, keine größeren fummeleien, aber eben nicht wenige frage 3) zu welcher zeit? nach dem sommerloch aufjedenfall, aber vor oder nach den obm-wahlen? ich freu mich auf die debatte in reallive am sonntag in einer woche. rückfragen? immer los :) greetz chriss
